Girlnetic Fitness Ambassador's Tea Party

Tonight was the first monthly meeting for the GFSC-Albany Ambassadors.   Ambassadors are members that have stepped into leadership roles-women who are full of life, passion and fabulous ideas.  Ideas pertaining to the creation and management of future events and how to build stronger membership relations.  The tea party, as I called it, was hosted in my dining room.  The six of us sat down to a low key and elegant candlelit dinner and dessert, dressed beautifully and fashionably.  It was straight out of Sex and the City- a women's power-dinner.  Filled with the swapping of advice, detailed personal stories and adventures and the spilling of fitness aspirations.  All the while, Nat King Kole's melodic voice settled in the background, lending the evening the perfect amount of romance.  As we got to know each other more intimately, we all gushed about the delight of having found GFSC and the friendships it has brought us.  I am lucky to have found the five of them, and to have them circling my table.  Dinner started with my homemade squash soup and  baked baguette and cheese.  Healthy, light and delicious, if I am allowed to say so myself.  Conversation flowed ever so easily through the hours while laughter was abundant and unabashed.  Our November events have been chosen and we are excited to commence planning.  Dessert which was a selection of Tzao teas and my homemade chocolate covered pretzel rods with sprinkles helped us carry on with planning and debating the best avenues to follow for success and fun.  Jonaliza(the creator of GFSC), Karli(the director of the GFSC-Albany volleyball team) and myself all have our B-day's within one day of each other in January, and thus the beginning stages of a Triple Treat b-day party were also laid down.  All in all, it was a very successful and inspiring night.  I can not wait to share the details of our future events!

Make sure to check the GFSC events calendar often and keep up to date!  Hope to see everyone at an event soon!
