Black Magic Woman

My Black Friday was spent on horse back.  One more aspect of this life I am eternally thankful for.  The day started with my shoot with Charles Slyer.  I met Charles and his wife Gina, the duo behind A Slyer Image Photography, last week after they contacted me to see if I would be interested in doing a photo project with them.   I am very much pleased with the outcome.  I love this first photo, It makes me feel so mysterious and dark- The moment I saw this picture, I youtubed, BLACK MAGIC WOMAN, by Santana.  If you are looking for local, talented and easy to work with Photographers, my opinion is that they are the team.

Once we wrapped on the shoot, I hit the trails with Lis.  The "boys", as we lovingly refer to her horses, were entirely full of it.  We charged the hills and let all run wild, the boys and our spirits- the best way to ride!

The evening was spent with 16 of my family members, eating a very lavish meal, I made Apple Sauce from scratch, one of my favorite things to do and then we played MAD GAB!  If you don't know about M.G. you MUST go out and buy it!  BEST GAME EVER!  My grandmother told me repeatedly that I was very beautiful and I had a very understanding heart and to wait for someone very special.  My grandparents have been married for 70 years.  I think she knows a thing or two.  Thanks gram!  Oh and I ordered a new pair of beautiful Franco Sarto boots, they should arrive on Tuesday!  eeek!
