Twelve for 12

Well here we are, the 4th of January, 2012.  So much has changed with the closing of 2011: My job and address- which is about to change again-eeeek, priorities, interests, goals, relationships- including that I have a boyfriend-whoever thought that would happen?!  I even knit my first ever pair of mittens and ate Haagen-Dazs ice cream for the first time- my overall happiness has grown in leaps in bounds, in just a few short weeks.  What I am most proud of is that I somehow put away the lamenting of the past and just fully appreciate where it has brought me.  Last year I set a goal to run again and in just 11 short days I will run my first, but certainly not last half marathon.  I have decided for 2012 to have twelve mini goals- as I get older- goodness, I'm about to be 27- I recognize there is a need for certain things in my life, and there is a need for better organization and forward planning... so you may see a theme in my "twelve for '12".

1- Create a Financial Plan
2-Keep an organized record of spending
3-Eat all fresh food before it goes bad
4-Use an agenda, as to not over extend myself
5-Don't wear chipped nail polish
6-read a book a month- any suggestions?!
7-Make a full semester outline
8-Have a monthly outline for personal interests- don't let life get too hectic that I miss out on things I want to see or do.
9- Don't let yoga practice fall off- practice at least 4 days a week
10-Read the news
11-Don't let dirty dishes sit in the sink
12- DON'T be afraid to truly love someone else.

What has everyone else decided for the new year?!  I'd love to hear!  I'm off to go for a run- yes, on a treadmill- it is bitter cold here, and a bit of a shock to the system.
