I went out today wearing the first skirt I ever made.  I love how lightweight and delicate this skirt is, but best of all I LOVE all of the errors I can see in it.  The pleating is all wanky, one side of the skirt is the "wrong side of the fabric", a zipper, forget it?!  I had no idea how to put one in, so I just used a hook and eye instead.  I am so proud of how far I've come in just a short time, but most of all I am just proud that I am following my heart- and it seems to be working out so spectacularly!  -oh and a little coffee ice cream never hurt, either!
